Nap Time Sewing Tutorial: Wool Ear Warmers

{I am starting nap time sewing tutorials. These are sewing projects that take no more than two hours to accomplish.  I will make and put together all these tutorials during nap time so you know it will take no more than two hours to finish the sewing project.  I am hoping to get one up a week, but I am a busy mom so no promises.}
This is a simple project that will take at shortest a half hour. The time actually depends on how creative you get with the flowers and how many you want to put on.

Lets get started!

I used an old wool sweater, but fleece would work well too.
1. I went ahead and cut out two identical pieces together by cutting them out at the same time. I am making this to fit a toddler so I made it 17 inches long and 3.5 inches wide. You can make it however long you need and wide to fit you or a loved one.

2. I curved one side, but you don't really need to do this. You could also just taper at the end.

3. Sew both strips together.

4. Make two button holes.

5. Sew on two buttons.

6. Cut out flowers. This is the fun part! For this particular one I decided to just make three flowers in three different sizes.

7. Place flowers and button on top of you ear warmer wherever you wish and sew them down.

Done!
